This Privacy Policy explains what information KKDN Inc. ("Beat'em," "we," "us") collects when you use our website and application (the "Service"), and how we use it. We're a Canadian company (Ontario), and we've tried to write this policy in plain language.
Account information — your email address and basic profile details when you sign up.
Marketplace connections — when you connect Poshmark, eBay, or Depop, we store what's needed to act on your behalf: session tokens (Poshmark), OAuth tokens (eBay), or a passwordless login link (Depop). We don't store your marketplace account passwords.
Listing content — the photos, descriptions, prices, and other details of the items you list, plus the inventory and sales data we import from your connected marketplaces.
Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor. We don't receive or store your full card details.
Usage data — how you use the app (pages visited, features used) collected through our analytics provider, so we can understand what's working and fix what isn't.
When you list an item, we send the photos and any details you provide to third-party AI providers to help write descriptions, pick categories, and fill in listing fields. These providers process that data to return results to Beat'em; they don't use it to identify you personally beyond what's needed to complete the request.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run the Service:
We may also share information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Beat'em, our users, or others.
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication (keeping you logged in) and analytics (understanding how the Service is used). You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Service may not work properly if you disable them.
If you delete your account, we keep your data for 30 days in case you want to recover it, then permanently delete it — except where we're required to keep certain records longer for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure — to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute protection, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to ask what we hold about you. You can do most of this yourself from your account settings, or by getting in touch. Canadian users have rights under PIPEDA; if you're in the EU/UK or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, which we'll honor on request.
Beat'em isn't intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Some of our service providers are located outside Canada (including in the United States). By using Beat'em, you understand your information may be processed in those locations, under this Privacy Policy.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the most recent revision.
